Eward Minoff graduated with honors from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Throughout his high school and college years he studied painting at the Art Students League, The National Academy School of Design, and the Vassar College. After co-founding the animation house, AMPnyc, he began to study with Jacob Collins at the Water Street Atelier. When the lure of the studio became irresistable he left his animation company to devote himself entirely to painting. Later he journeyed to Italy to study at the Florence Academy of Art. Currently he teaches figure drawing at the Grand Central Academy in Manhattan. Minoff is featured in the Winter issue.

Antonio Lopez Garcia is called "the greatest realist artist alive" by Robert Hughes, Lopez has an extraordinary way of depicting the commonplace with profound sensibility to seeing "truth" and beauty in his subjects. Currently he is Spain's most sought after artist, in 2003 he had an important exhibition of his paintings and sculptures at the Museo de la Reina Sofia. Grace Mehan DeVito is a native of Connecticut, she earned her B.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts in New York. DeVito has a deep appreciation for the insight, power, and humanity of the classic academic approach. She is particularly aware of composition, the disposition of light and color, and the handling of space. Devito is the recipient of numerous awards and her paintings hang in many private and public collections including The United Nations, Sony, Pepsico, Northwestern Mutual to mention a few. Grace's segment is featured in our Winter issue.
 
daniel sprick
Daniel Sprick has established himself as one of the top realist artists in the 21st century. His paintings are sought after and collected throughout the world and he has garnered a long list of achievements to numerous to list here. He has work in several museums across the country, the Denver Art museum has devoted a permenant installment displaying several of the aritsts paintings and objects used to create the images. Daniel lives in Glenwood Springs with his wife Andrea Sprick. Sprick is featured in the Summer issue.
 
Amaya
Amaya Gurpide has lived and studied painting in New York City for the past decade and now resides in Madrid. She began her studies at the age of 16 at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios in Pamplona, graduating in 1994. She studied at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design while in the states and completed a Three Year Certificate Program at the National Academy and was awarded the Three Year Travel Scholarship, also the Newington-Cropsey Award to travel to Italy and the study the Italian masters. Amaya has also studied at the Grand Cental Academy under Travis Schlaht and Edward Minoff, where she gained a strong technical knowledge in figure drawing. Gurpide is featured in the Fall issue.
 
Jacob Collins
Jacob Collins is a leading figure in the contemporary revival of classical painting. He earned a BA in history from Columbia College, attended the New York Studio School, the New York Academy of Art, and the Art Students League. As a student, Collins also copied extensively in the museums in America and Europe. His work has been widely exhibited in North America and Europe and is included in several American Museums. Collins is the founder of the Water Street Atelier, The Grand Central Academy of Art, and the Hudson River School Fellowship. Collins is featured in the Spring issue.

Darren Kingsley is a realist painter currently residing in Philadelphia, PA. His training began at The Atelier in Minneapolis, MN. In 2001 he moved to New York City to study with Nelson Shanks at the Art Students League of New York and shortly thereafter moved to Philadelphia to study at Shanks' newly opened Studio Incamminati. His works are in many public and private collections including The Union League of Philadelphia, The Forbes Magazine Collection and Lucasfilm, Ltd. He was a recipient of the American Society of Classical Realism Scholarship. He exhibits at the John Pence Gallery in San Francisco, CA. and teaches at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia, PA. Kingsley is featured in the Summer issue.

Carlo Russo is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, he is based in Philadelphia where he maintains his studio and teaches oil painting. Carlo has exhibited his paintings in Philadelphia, where he has done four solo shows, as well as NYC, Georgia, and Santa Fe. While known mainly for his still life paintings he works in the figurative and landscape genres also. His paintings appear in collections across the US and in England. Russo is featured in the Spring issue.

Travis Schlaht attended The University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. He later moved to NYC where he met and studied under his mentor and friend Jacob Collins. Travis has had several solo exhibitions and participated in many group shows across the country. He currently teaches throughout the year at the Grand Central Academy and The Hudsun River School for Landscape. Schlaht is featured in the Spring issue.

Paul G. Oxborough studied at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and Atelier Lesueur. He has exhibited numerous times at both the British and Scottish National Portrait Galleries, the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, as well as several other museums. Paul has had over a dozen solo shows and his work is included in collections world-wide. Known for his bravura brushwork and his ability to capture light, Oxborough has received many awards including Best of Show and First Place in Figurative painting from the Art Renewal Center and the President's Award from the American Portrait Society. Paul's paintings are inspired by his travels and his love of his family. Oxborough is featured in the Spring issue.

Brad Rueben Kunkle is represented by Arcadia Fine Arts in NYC. His world premiere one-man exhibition, Against Nature, was in April of 2010. He has been featured in Fine Art Connoisseur magazine, Poets and Artists, and on the cover of American Art Collector and International Artists magazine. Brad lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Kunkle is featured in the Summer issue.
 
Carl Samson is an american impressionist artist and repeat winner at the National Portrait Competition, winning both the Grand Prize and the Distinguished Achievement awards. In 1996, he was one of five American plein air painters invited to work with the Union of Russian Artists in Moscow. In June of 2000, he lectured and demonstrated at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York as the American Society of Portrait Artists' Distinguished Guest of Honor. In summer 2009, his full length nude, Triumph of Truth, received the Phil Desen award for most outstanding representational painting at the Butler Institute of American Art's annual Mid Year exhibition. Samson is featured in the Summer issue.  
janus The Janus Collaborative of Art provides serious artists a comprehensive education in the fundamental and advanced concepts of drawing, painting and sculpture from direct observation. The studio is run by Kate Lehman, Michael Grimaldi, Dan Thompson and Stephen Perkins. At the JCSA each instructor teaches their own approach making the studio a unique environment to develop artistically. The Janus Collaborative is featured in the Summer issue.  
kerry dunn Kerry Dunn recieved his BFA from Ringling School of Art and Design in 1999. He then studied for a brief period at the Art Students League of New York in 2001, where he met his mentor Nelson Shanks. Kerry continued his studies under the guidance of Mr. Shanks when the school Studio Incamminati was opened in Philadelphia in 2002. After about four years of training at the school Kerry transitioned into that of instructor. Kerry currently holds a teaching position in the full time and part time programs at Studio Incamminati. In addition Kerry has garnered some recent awards: Best of Show at the Salmagundi Club Non-Member Exhibition 2009 and Honor Awards from the Portrait Society of America 2009 and 2007. His works have been included in the Rosenfel Gallery, Bucks Gallery of Fine Art and Fort Wayne Museum of Art: Contemporary American Realism Exhibition 2008. Dunn is featured in the Spring issue.  
Scott Tallman Powers is a signature member of the Oil Painters of America and founder of The Plein Air Painters of Chicago. He received his education at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and has since travelled to many parts of the world to seek inspiration. His work now hangs at the Wengyuan Museum of Fine Art and the Shaguan Museum of Fine Art both in China, at The Academy Museum in Easton, Maryland and in many private collections across the country. Powers is featured in the Summer issue.  
Kegler Thomas Kegler is an accomplished landscape artist from New York. Revisiting the processes and techniques of the Old Masters in light of classical and contemporary subjects is what guides Kegler's artistic expression. The artist is active teaching workshops throughout the year and recently produced an instructional DVD on landscape painting. Kegler is featured in the Fall issue.  
jeff Jeffrey T. Larson has a distinct ability to elevate any subject matter to fine art. His outdoor work is a mixture of academic and impressionist technique while his studio paintings focus on a more contemplative and delicate approach. Jeffrey's art is collected across the country and the artist is recipient of many awards including winner of the 25th Annual National Still Life Competition from The Artist's Magazine. Larson is featured in the Fall issue.  
Christopher Pugliese has studied at New York Academy of Art, The National Academy of Design, and the Art Students League of NY. Also at The University of the Art in Philadelphia. He has spent time in France studying under the great draftsman Ted Seth Jacobs at the Ecole Albert Defois, while in Europe he studied at The American Institute of Foreign Study in Florence. The artist has had several one man shows across the country and plays a huge role in the new movement of contempary realist painters. Pugliese is featured in the Fall issue.
