The new Fall issue commences with one of the great young talents working today, Maria Kreyn. The artist discusses some of her technique as well as her inspiration behind why she paints. The following segment is a plein air demonstration on the coast of New Jersey with Richard Kochenash. Richard is an exceptional artist and is passionate about capturing the fleeting effects of nature and how they appear to the human eye. Next there is a demonstration by the creator of APVM, Michael Klein. Michael filmed his painting at the first annual landscape competition hosted by the Teaching Studios of Art. The first segment at the start of the second part of this issue is produced and edited by the artist himself, Logan Maxwell Hagege (which is really cool for us because it brings a fresh and more personal touch to APVM.) During this instructional documentary Hagege demonstrates from start to finish one of his figure paintings. Last but not least, a special interview with one of today's most sought after teachers, Ted Seth Jacobs. Artist Sadie Valeri was kind enough to capture her conversation with this living master in his home in France. Running time approximately 95 minutes.
